Wellness Tips Of The Day On Facebook! [Video]

Wellness Tip Videos

Hey, friends — if we're Facebook friends, you'll know that I post a Wellness Tip of the Day video Monday - Friday. I started doing this last November (2016) at the advice/prompting/encouraging of my friend, Laura Eubanks.

{Actually, I said, "I haven't started doing videos yet because I'm afraid". Laura replied, "Honey, you need to get out of your head and just DO IT." So I did.}

Anyway, my videos speak to creating a more healthy, balanced life  — often using the garden as a resource. Body, mind, and spirit. Here's an example of one video:

Giving nutrition tips with updated research is just one of the things I like to cover. Other wellness tip topics include yoga, meditation, cancer recovery, depression/anxiety, stress management, nutrition, plants, and relationships.

Also, My Monday Wellness Tip of the Day is something I call "Jenny's Favorite Things." I recommend a product, a cookbook, clothing — anything that helps me to live a fuller life of wellness!

So, I create the Wellness Tip of the Day videos because I want us to live our best lives. And make no mistake — this has nothing to do with being perfect. Sometimes you do something that you wish you hadn't, eat something that you regretted, say something hurtful — that's being human. I'm a big believer in regrouping and resetting, learning from experience, and educating myself about health and wellness.

If you'd like to join me, come on over to Facebook at Jenny Nybro Peterson or check out each of the videos on my YouTube channel at Jenny Peterson. And if you have a wellness tip or topic you'd like me to cover, please leave it in a comment!

And finally, if you're a cancer survivor or would simply like to learn how to use your garden as a resource for healing, check out my book The Cancer Survivor's Garden Companion: Cultivating Hope, Healing & Joy in the Ground Beneath Your Feet. It's available on Amazon, in your local Barnes & Noble store, at garden centers — if you don't see it, please ask for it to be ordered for you because copies may have run out.

 Did you know that large leaves in the garden promote wellness because they ground the space?
